Willshee’s Recognised for Best Practice in The Parliamentary Review 2018

We are delighted to announce that we have been named a Best Practice Representative in The Parliamentary Review 2018.

The Review, which is co-Chaired by Lord Blunkett and The Rt. Hon Sir Eric Pickles, reflects on the past year to acknowledge the achievements of a number of top UK businesses. The inclusion of Willshee’s in this year’s list recognises the award-winning company’s journey it has embarked on since it first began.

From its establishment in 1984 with just one vehicle and ten skips to employing 90 people across three separate sites today, Willshee’s has grown exponentially since its creation and continue to do so.

To celebrate the achievement, representatives from Willshee’s attended The Parliamentary Review annual gala dinner which is held at the Palace of Westminster in London.

The event took place on Thursday 6th September and featured a number of reputable guest speakers including MP Amber Rudd and Eddie Jones, Head Coach of the England National Rugby Team.

It was a very exciting experience for the Willshee’s team and it was an honour to be recognised for our growth and continued dedication to waste and recycling services. Not only that, but we were able to meet many other successful businesses leaders which served as a great inspiration to us.

Dean Willshee, Managing Director, said of the event, “We are delighted to be involved in this year’s Parliamentary Review and we hope our story will help other businesses. It was great to attend the gala dinner and meet other best practice businesses and talk to government officials about our work at Willshee’s. Achievements such as this are down to our great team here at Willshee’s who are committed to protecting our environment through the recycling and sustainable services we offer.”

The Parliamentary Review is a guide to industry best practice, which demonstrates how sector leaders have responded to challenges in the political and economic environment. The initiative reviews businesses from a broad range of sectors, from education to tech, transport and beyond.

It is distributed to over 500,000 leading business executives, policy makers and other relevant individuals each year meaning that many more people will be able to learn about the work that we are doing here at Willshee’s.

Willshee’s recognition by this prestigious establishment acknowledges the fact that we continue to deliver the best possible service to all of our customers. We are proud to provide services which continually please our customers and aim to do so for years to come.
