Lichfield-based Palletways has recently renewed its contract with Willshee’s. The agreement involves having a permanent on-site Willshee’s team and providing a complete waste management service that delivers a zero waste to landfill solution.
Compactors and balers are kept on site for increased efficiencies and specialist advice is then sought for the disposal of hazardous waste. Willshee’s technical compliance manager Susan Purnell is a specialist in this area and will action, for example, collections from satellite depots and arrange safe, compliant solutions.
Carl Howitt, UK SHEQ Manager at Palletways, commented: “The collaboration and partnership that we have with Willshee’s works very well – fulfilling all our waste requirements”.
Lichfield-based Palletways has pan European services running within 24 countries, via over 350 members between a strategically placed network of 23 hubs. In 2016 Palletways became the express palletised freight arm of Imperial Logistics and the business has continued to grow from strength to strength.
Imperial Logistics has allowed the Palletways business to strengthen its position in Europe, helping to achieve the goal of “The European Pallet Network” of natural choice for the distribution of express palletised freight.
