This year Willshee’s has been investing in some major new equipment to help us deliver even better services to our customers. Not inly have we expanded our fleet so that we can carry out even more collections, we have also purchased new state of the art technology and increased capacity for our staff. All of this is helping to contribute to the continued growth and success of our family business.

New In-floor Weighbridge with Office and Canteen Facility

One of our new investments has been a new in-floor weighbridge at our premises. Along with this we have also built a new weighbridge office building at the RDF depot. The building includes a new traffic office, a 1st floor canteen and shower facilities for the on site workforce. As well as having modern equipment that allows us to carry out the best work possible, we also wanted to take the opportunity to create a spacious, pleasant new workspace for our employees, where they can also relax and recuperate after their hard work.

Increase to Our Collection Fleet

Due to continued business growth, Willshee’s is pleased to announce it has once again increased its collection fleet. It has purchased a new 4×2 18te skip vehicle, which is fitted with the most advanced euro 6 engine, providing higher fuel efficiency and significantly reduced emissions. As a company who strives to help other businesses be more eco-friendly and strive to achieve zero waste, it is important to us that we select vehicles that produce lower emissions, in line with our sustainability principles.

New Trade Waste Refuse Collection Vehicle

Willshee’s always strive to invest in state of the art technology. As part of our drive towards providing accurate and timely information, we have recently acquired a new trade waste vehicle that is fitted with the most up to date computer system of its type, providing real time reporting of information to our office via the on board system. This information requires no keying from our office – the software can be set up to provide the weight information automatically to our customer in real time.

The vehicle is fitted with the most up to date Euro 6 engine, which is both fuel efficient and environmentally advanced. The 6×2 vehicle is also fitted with a rear steer axle to prevent tyre scrub whilst giving it greater access to tight arrears. The computer system is a VWS Vehicle Weighing System link to a PDA via SIM card / tracker system.
