Ben Kelly-Walley joined Willshee’s in August 2020 and is thriving on the increasing demand for the authentic Willshee’s offer and the opportunity to add value to customers by being proactive and delivering a bespoke service.
Ben has over 18 years’ commercial experience and loves working for a business that is on such a growth curve, meeting the demand from the increasing number of businesses and organisations that not only want to achieve zero waste to landfill but also want the reassurance of an accredited service that offers transparency and efficiencies.
Business development manager Ben Kelly-Walley speaks about his role in the business:
“Everywhere you look, there is increasing evidence of the importance of environmental and social responsibility. It is no longer acceptable for companies to simply tick a box to indicate their commitment to being ‘green’. Today, our customers’ customers are increasingly insisting on proof and deciding not to buy from businesses that are not responsible.
“This is good news for Willshee’s who have consistently invested in responsible waste and recycling equipment and management.
“More and more customers are not just requesting waste removal; they are also increasingly receptive to other services. For example, by renting baling and compaction equipment from Willshee’s located at their depot, customers can reduce their carbon footprint and save money. Businesses with food waste can sign up to anaerobic digestion and turn waste into energy. What’s not to like?!
“Our total waste management service is a best in class offer and that does involve a premium. But in return, customers get 14001 peace of mind, access to efficient online admin and auditing tools, and a team of professionals who have excellent technical knowledge alongside a proactive approach with an eye on continuous improvement and innovation.”
Ben lives in Hilton with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing football.
