We’ve made it our mission to ensure that as little waste as possible to landfill. We run our very own Materials Recycling Facility. Using advanced machinery and processes, we have the capacity to effectively recycle the most common domestic skip hire materials.
We can effortlessly and ecologically dispose and reuse wood, cardboard, paper, metal, glass, plastic, plasterboard and many other materials. Almost everything that you are disposing of will be able to be efficiently dealt with at our facility.
Of course, there are also a few items and materials not suitable for going in one of our skips. If you are using our domestic skip hire services, please be extra careful not to place any of the following items into the container:

What can’t go in a skip?
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (including fridges, microwaves, hairdryers, radios, TVs, computers, kettles and toasters), gas bottles, chemicals and solvents, batteries, clinical waste, liquids including oil and paint, plasterboard, Mattresses, asbestos and tyres.
Can the skip go on the road?
If you need to place your skip on a public highway you will require a skip permit from your local council. It is illegal to place a skip on a public highway without permission. We can arrange all this for you.

Where Can I Put My Skip?
How full can I load the skip?
The skip should be filled no higher than the height of the sides and should be level loaded in order for us to be able to transport the skip safely.

How can I order a skip?
You can either call us on 01283 702340 or book online via the website.
How long can I keep the skip for?
You can keep your skip 10 days. Longer hire periods can be arranged if required. If your skip is on the road, you will need to check the length of time covered by your permit.
How do I arrange for the skip to be exchanged or collected?
When you are ready to have your skip collected or exchanged, just give us a call on 01283 702340 or email us on sales@willshees.co.uk and we will arrange it. Please give us at least 24 hours notice.
